Midnight Lunar Market is an alternative night market for all alternative, witchy, quirky, weird and wonderful small businesses + people.
Each events aim is to create a wholesome and safe space which allows everyone involved to have an enjoyable magickal night all while supporting local talent!
Come explore a jaw dropping venue, grab a cocktail at the bar, get a tarot reading, connect with like minded people, browse the small businesses and immerse yourself in art at Scotlands first alternative night market.
Gone are early rises, join us under the moon 🌙
Quiet hour
There will be a quiet hour taking place from 5-6pm to accommodate those who need a less simulated experience. For this music will be off and lighting will be still. No booking is required, if we reach the max capacity it then runs on a 1 in: 1 out basis. It’s asked if you do not require the quiet hour to come after 6pm to allow everyone to enjoy Midnight Lunar Market.

2026 is held at Le Monde or Assembly Roxy for our Holidays Edition.
Le Monde
Located at 16 George Street, Edinburgh, Scotland. A short 2-4 minute walk from either Waverly or Edinburghs bus station. There are 6 steps into the building, a lift and accessible toilet are inside the hotel reception.
Midnight Lunar Market takes place within the Dirty Martini and Lounge on the 1st floor.
There is also a staircase up to the market located through the bar.
Le Monde allows accompanied under 18's until 8pm, this is up to parental discretion.
Le Monde allows service pets.
Assembly Roxy (December 6th)
Located at 2 Roxburgh Place, Edinburgh, Scotland. A brief 10-15 minute stroll through the historic old town from either Waverly or Edinburghs bus station. There are 2 entrances. The main entrance has 2 steps, an accessible entrance and toilet are located to the right of the main entrance.
Midnight Lunar Market takes place within the Accessible main half and the crypt, located down 18 shallow steps.
Assembly Roxy allows accompanied under 18's until 11pm, this is up to parental discretion.
Well behaved pets are welcome.

Midnight Lunar Market was created to support small alternative businesses by showcasing their work and create a new night activity for the community in Edinburgh and Scotland.
With no other Scottish alternative night markets existing at the time of creation; and a lack of alt markets, late shopping and wholesome night events within the city- there was a real need for a place where night owls, alt artists and weekend day workers - who normally can’t do daytime markets/shopping to come together under the moon 🌙
Midnight Lunar Market is an inclusive place. Any racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism or abuse will not be tolerated. If you encounter any issues at any of our events or have concerns over traders please contact the event organiser via email.
Every being deserves to have a beautiful space to live; so it is asked that everyone involved try to be as sustainable and kind to Mother Nature as possible. Please dispose of rubbish by composting what you can.
